About Us:

The Balloon Flights Company was set up by Steve Charlish - our Chief Commercial Balloon Pilot in 1987.
Steve has vast flying experience in both aeroplanes and hot air balloons.

In addition as a listed, recommended pilot for the media including the BBC /ITV/Channel TV, we have been involved in flying The Songs Of Praise team (from Rutland to celebrate the re-launch of Rutland County). Safari UK - a documentary for the BBC, promoting Environment City Leicester.
We were also privileged to be part of the ITV telethon taking part in the first-ever balloon flight on the island of Guernsey. We also broadcast 'live' for two hours from the balloon with Radio Leicester presenting its 'Morning Breakfast' programme.

Our oldest passenger flown attracted much media interest, from both TV and the Press having just turned a youthful 100 years of age. 
In addition we have flown thousands of passengers over the years gaining an excellent reputation for balloon flight enjoyment and Safety.

Booking and Gift Vouchers

To book , please print off the booking form with written details of the passenger (s) and return including full payment amount or simply telephone us with your debit/credit card details and we will issue a Gift Voucher by return .

You can specify the flight date required or leave open and allow the passenger to book a date themselves.

Gift Vouchers are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase. Flight bookings can be made on behalf of other people and our gift vouchers make the ideal gift. Flights are transferable subject to prior approval by the company.
