Where Do We Fly?
Balloons are unique flying aircraft requiring neither runway or Airport facilities therefore enabling the flexibility of operating from our launch sites within the Leicester area, often from a base launch site at Kings Norton (a delightful rural setting) with occasional flights from several other rural sites around the counties of Leicestershire and Rutland. Our destination is unknown as we literally fly where the wind takes us, on average we expect to fly about 15 to 20 miles.

Flight Information - weather
Ballooning exists around careful consideration of the weather.
For your safety and comfort, we do not fly if it is foggy, windy or raining.
Passengers are instructed to phone our office at a certain time prior to their flight, If the trip has to be cancelled due to the weather we are happy to reschedule your flight.

Flight Times & Duration
Flights last  an hour to an hour and a half and we literally blow in any direction at the speed of the wind.
We fly twice a day, normally in the early morning (about an hour after dawn and again about two hours before sunset. The time of day is essential  to the flight  as this often gives us the stable conditions that are required  for your safety/enjoyment and comfort. The decision to curtail a flight due to weather / safety issues is at the pilots discretion.

What to wear
Our simplest advice is to say 'dress as if you are going for a walk in the countryside'. Casual clothing is ideal, an essential item being  a cap/hat. Long trousers and long sleeved shirts preferably in natural fibres are recommended. Sensible footwear is required - so No high heels please!!  Temperatures aloft are actually similar to that at the ground by a degree or two, so dress to the ground temperature.

Cameras
As a balloon is a most stable platform for photography or videoing , a camera is a most essential item with plenty of film / batteries, enabling you to record all those memorable moments.
